Ian Cullen
Managing Partner
Ian is a relationship-minded Managing Partner who leads the SHAPE Capital team in capital advisory, loan structuring, syndication, portfolio strategy, and portfolio expansion. Ian is a seasoned mortgage lender with 20+ years in the real estate finance industry including institutional, private lending and Schedule I bank experience. He is a CFA Charter holder and holds a B.Comm in Finance from UBC Sauder School of Business.
Suzanna Fung
Associate, Loan Administration & Compliance
With over 5+ years of real estate experience in lending, corporate finance, and sales, Suzanna oversees SHAPE Capital’s loan closing and monitoring program, underwriting of loans as well as extracting and analyzing market data. Suzanna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Simon Fraser University and is currently pursuing her CFA Designation.
Maleah Meakin
DIRECTOR, Mortgage Investments & Operations
Maleah brings 13+ years of commercial real estate experience, including 9+ years of lending and banking with a focus on land and construction financing. Maleah completed a Bachelor of Commerce at University of Victoria followed by a Diploma of Urban Land Economics (DULE) at UBC.
Michael Morris

Michael brings 10+ years of commercial real estate finance and capital markets expertise that he gained across major cities including Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles. Prior to joining SHAPE Capital, Michael was with a Schedule I bank’s real estate lending division, where he was responsible for supporting clients throughout the full development cycle including land acquisition, site servicing, construction, and long-term financing. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s School of Business and an MBA from UBC Sauder School of Business.
Ray Ng

With 10+ years of lending and banking experience in senior positions within large financial institutions and 15+ years in real estate and debt procurement at SHAPE, Ray has long standing relationships with the country’s most active lenders. In his time at SHAPE, he has raised over $6 billion in term and construction financing. As a founding shareholder and Managing Partner at SHAPE Capital, Ray helps to lead SHAPE Capital through strategic planning, financial management, client acquisition and performance monitoring.
